Thermal printing (or direct thermal printing) is a digital printing process which produces a printed image by selectively heating coated thermochromic paper, or thermal paper as it is commonly known, when the paper passes over the thermal print head. The coating turns black in the areas where it is heated, producing an image.
Thermal transfer printing is a very different method that uses a heat-sensitive ribbon instead of heat-sensitive paper but uses similar thermal print heads this would be used where the label is exposed to heat.
Our servicing includes, reading and verification systems. This is so that your printed label quality conforms to the correct ISO standards, this ensures your barcodes/labels can be read consistently by the end user.an image.
Continuous Ink Jet (CIJ) systems work by expelling electrically charged ink droplets from a printhead nozzle and passing them through an electric field.
CIJ printers are used to print information such as product codes, dates and barcodes etc. ideal for traceability.
We have used ink jet printers to print engine codes and dates onto cast iron and aluminium on engine cylinder blocks. The latest CIJ printers allow for remote printer monitoring and control. We can setup the printer to your requirements for quick access and adjustments to the printing.
